Hello luvs,

I hope you are all enjoying the long holiday weekend so far! As for myself I have been just lounging around the house and working on school work. Super exciting...yes I know!

On to my look...this particular two-piece set I purchased online for a steal during one of the many sales Charlotte Russe has and if you shop online during certain happy hour promotion times, you can save even more. I actually paid $7.48 on the set marked down from its original price of $34.99. Here's the deal, there was a 50% of sale and then I received an additional 50% off the sale price during a happy hour promotion! Yes..SCORE! 

So anyways, since we are at the tail end of summer approaching Fall, I decided to tie this utility jacket around my waist, also from the Charlotte Russe sale online.

Hi luvs,

How do you feel about summer ending? Let me tell you straight up, I am not a fan of Fall or Winter. I am more of a Spring/Summer gal. But, the best part of living in Califonia is the weather. It pretty much stays sunny the majority of the year.

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Hello Luvs,

Happy Hump Day! I think this shirt is one of my favorites! It's actually a few years old and I try to whip it out on Wednesdays in honor of the famous Mean Girl phrase, "On Wednesdays we wear PINK". Not that I am a mean girl or anything like that!

Well I decided to go for a monochromatic soft pink look pairing it with black heels and a choker. This is my way of incorporating darker colors in preparation for the end of summer season.

Hello Luvs,

Its been a while since my last post. School, mommy hood, and wifely duties has stolen a great deal of my free time. Bare with me through my life! 

On another note, my weight loss is still in effect. Although, summer fairs and family vacations full of fried and sugary treats caused me to eat a little wild! I have been able to maintain! Not sure if I could've pulled off a onesie a few years ago, but all I can say is slow and steady wins the race to anyone on their weight loss journey! This simple mom-onesie is easy to throw on and go!

Choker Envy

Hello Luvs,

How are you all feeling about the re-emergence of the choker trend? I know I am loving it! It takes me back to my teenage years when the tattoo chokers were in and I wore them around my neck and my ankle. Now, they have returned and I found this beautifully dramatic choker at Charlotte Russe and had to have it. At first glance it was questionable, but when you put it on...it transforms your outfit!

Hello Sunday,

I hope you are all enjoying the long weekend! Friday my sons school hosted an Independence Day performance and all the Kindergarteners were in their red, white, and blue singing patriotic songs in celebration of America's Birthday. I went out and bought the whole family Flag shirts for only $2.50, thanks to Old Navy!

Hello Luvs,

Last Sunday, one of my younger sister completed her CNA programs. My goal was to dress-up with this pink dress, black heels, and a black chocker to be trendy! Well as you can see from the pictures this look started one way and ended on a more relaxed note! I had my jean jacket and TopShop boots in the car and there it went!
